A Few Words for Newcomers

System Requirements

  • Windows 10/11 64‑bit
  • Ubuntu 22.04/24.04 LTS x86_64
  • Linux Mint 21/22 Cinnamon x86_64
  • Fedora 40/41 x86_64
  • Arch Linux x86_64
  • At least 6 GB RAM (2 GB may work, but try not to run background applications)
  • 12 GB RAM recommended
  • Make sure you have enough free space for models and temporary files (this is the most important!)
  • CPU mode will run slower
  • Virtual machine environments are not guaranteed to run voice models properly

Lightweight OS Versions May Cause Bugs

You may encounter similar issues when running other programs as well. Except for lightweight OS versions customized specifically for gaming...

Reminders for First‑Time Launch

If possible, we recommend restarting Windows before the first launch.
On the first run, antivirus software or Windows Defender may be scanning model and DLL files, which could trigger errors.
If you encounter an error, please restart the program and try again. If the issue persists, please upload the log and contact me.
If you have plenty of memory (more than 10 GB free), you can skip this section.

Avoid Using Chinese or Japanese Characters in Your Windows Username

If your username contains Chinese or Japanese characters, we recommend changing it. If you are unsure how to do this, please ask an AI assistant or search on Google.

Make Sure to Extract All Files Completely, Including .bin Files

This should go without saying. 😊

Avoid Installing to the Program Files Directory (and Avoid Using Administrator Privileges)

Installing to this path may cause voice generation and voice conversion functions to freeze on the loading screen.

Note

This seems to be somewhat of a mysterious issue...

Avoid Using Chinese or Japanese Characters in the Installation Path

DANGER

This may cause various hard‑to‑reproduce bugs. Please ensure the path does not contain special characters.

Audio Filenames Containing Chinese Characters, Overly Long Paths, or Parentheses May Cause Errors

Windows itself has path length limitations.
Even aside from OS limits, this program may experience bugs when the path is too long.
Many software applications have issues with Chinese paths; only programs with good compatibility can avoid such problems.

The Program May Freeze Briefly When You Cancel Generation/Conversion

This is because it needs to clean up cached files.

This may cause one of the two TTS cores to become unusable.

About Diagnostic Logs

Diagnostic logs are disabled by default.
If enabled, they may record system information, execution paths, model loading details, and error information.
Logs do not record the full content of user input text, unless the error context happens to include that content.
If you are comfortable with this, you can enable logging and report any bugs to me.

What Data Remains If I Choose "Yes" When Uninstalling?

Saved program settings and log files (if you did not enable logging, you can ignore those; but system settings and wallpaper files may also remain, though their size is small and can be ignored).
When installing a new version, you can continue using your previous settings.
